How a mosque crescent is made
A mosque crescent is not a decoration bought off a shelf. It is made to the size of one minaret. This is how we produce it in our factory in Egypt, step by step, and why a factory can make it for less than a small workshop.

From photo to finished crescent
- Size from your photoWe calculate the size from a photo of the minaret or the architect’s drawing.
- MoldEvery model has its own mold. We only adjust the size, we do not start from zero.
- FormingThe crescent, spheres and rings are formed from aluminium, copper or stainless steel.
- Turning and assemblyThe shaft and rings are turned and assembled on a base designed for the top of your minaret.
- PaintingGold or silver paint with UV resistant coating, or a natural metal finish for stainless steel.
- Photos before shippingYou receive photos of the finished crescent before we pack it.

A factory, not a workshop
A workshop builds one crescent at a time by hand, in limited sizes. We have a full production line under one roof: forming, turning, assembly and painting, with our own molds.
The result is a lower price, identical crescents when a mosque needs more than one, and sizes up to 15 m for tall minarets.
Send us a photo of your minaret
A photo and the approximate height are enough for a size proposal and a written quote.
LED lighting and qibla orientation
LED lighting is optional and is built into the crescent during production, so it has to be decided before we start.
When we install, the crescent is oriented towards the qibla.
