Strong sun fades cheap paint quickly, and coastal humidity rusts painted iron. We use UV resistant coatings and recommend aluminium or stainless steel for coastal cities like Lagos, Dakar, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa and Durban.
For large central mosques we make landmark crescents up to 15 m, with optional LED lighting for night visibility.
